Join us for a discussion about lil’ Las Vegas’ own community makerspace – Parachute Factory. You may know quite a bit about this organization; you may know very little. To make a long story short, we find ourselves in an important transition at the moment, and are working toward building a stronger relationship with our local community as we move forward.
On March 30, 2016, Parachute Factory’s founder & director, Mariano Ulibarri, will offer a quick overview on exactly what our organization is about. His 15 minute presentation will introduce our past achievements, our thoughts on teaching & learning, and give a glimpse into the direction we see this organization moving in. After the presentation there will be time for Q&A with Mariano and other key Parachute Factory members. We will wrap things up with an open forum, where all members of the Las Vegas community will have the opportunity to share their vision for how this organization might best serve the community.
No matter what walk of life you represent, you ARE a key player in this conversation. We hope to hear from as many voices as possible at this meeting. One major factor in our success as lil’ Las Vegas’ community makerspace is a clear understanding of the wants, needs, and beliefs that you hold. Please try to join us to discuss the Future of Parachute Factory!
